“The tremendous impact that this work has made upon the English reading Muslims (as well as many non-Muslims) of the world, has never been greater than it is today, and shall continue insha-Allah - for generations to come. It has enabled interested readers of English who do not have a proficiency in reading and comprehending Quranic Arabic to greatly enrich their understanding of the meaning and the incomparable beauty and perfection of the Glorious Quran. It has given them a more authentic and reliable translation from which they could make a serious study.

It is the duty of every Muslim man, woman or child, to read the Quran and understand it according to his own capacity. If anyone of us attains to some knowledge or understanding of it by study, contemplation and the test of life, both outward and inward, it is his duty, according to his capacity, to instruct others and share with them the joy and peace which result from contact with the spiritual world. The English language being widely spread over the world, many people interested in Islam will get their ideas of the Quran from English translations. It is good that qualified Muslims should make the attempt to present the picture which their own mental ad spiritual vision presents to themselves. serve as a ready reference to the seekers of divine knowledge, at least on some vital subjects.

I wish to present to the readers. this book, “In Search of the Message” in the website to serve as a ready reference to the seekers of divine knowledge, at least on some vital subjects and arranged them in alphabetical order - from A – Z - under various subjects in this service to Islam, and I do that only for Allah’s sake.

I wish to make it clear that I am not a scholar of the Quran by any means It is the constant reading of the Quran ( for over three decades) which seized my heart with the desire to carry it teachings in its own instructive style, in our efforts to understand the precepts of the Quran.
In this is a Message for you: Will ye then understand?

It is a blessed and a universal Message - Will ye then reject it?

85:21 - Nay this is a Glorious Qur'an

81:26 - Then whither go ye?

QURAN READING
Special Blessings
3:104-Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain felicity.431

Note 431 (Sura 3 Ayath 1)
Muflih, aflaha, falah: the root idea is attainment of desires; happiness, in this world and the next; success; prosperity; freedom from anxiety, care, or a disturbed state of mind;-the opposite of azab in the next verse, witch includes: failure; misery; punishment or penalty; agony or anguish. The ideal Muslim community is happy, untroubled by conflicts or doubts, sure of itself, strong, united and prosperous: because it invites to all that is good; enjoins the right; and forbids the wrong, a master stroke of description in three clauses.

The Holy Qur’an is indeed a miracle in many aspects, some of which of special benefits are described below:
‘Uthmaan, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihiwasallam) said: “The best of you are the ones who learn the Qur’an and teach it to others” [Al-Bukhari]

THE BEST DU’A TO REMEMBER

01) AllahummaA’inni Ala Zikrika washukrika wahusni ibadatika
O Allah! Assit me in remembering You, in thanking You, and in worshipping You in the best of manners. Musnad Ahmad 5:245, SahihabuDawudVol 2:86 or 1301(NE) and SunanNasa’I 1286

02) Recite Sura 2:255 Baqara Aayat al-Kursiy-before going to bed, for there will remain with you a guardian from Allaah, and no devil will approach you, until morning comes.
(saheeh al bukhari) [13] Ayat-ul-Kursi is verse 255 of Surah Al-Bqarah and is related to Allah’s throne. This Quranic verse has many blessings and is used for ruqyah treatment, the treatment of evil eye, black magic, and also for general and comprehensive protection.

03) ReciteSuraBaqara 2:284-286 - The last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah are one of the most memorized and recited Quranic verses among Muslims and that is for a good reason. Consider the saying of the prophet (s.a.w.) about the last verses of the Surah.
“Whoever recites the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah at night, it will suffice him’” (According to Abu Masood al-Ansaari and narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4723; Muslim, 807).

–The last two verses. Prophet (s.a.w.) told us that its recitation in a house keeps the Satan away. Abu Hurayrah reports that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) said: “Do not make your houses like graves, for the Shaytan runs away from a house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited” (narrated by Muslim, 780). As most of the spiritual ailments such as evil eye, jinn possession, and black magic are satanic in nature, keeping Satan away can also help both in the treatment of such conditions and as a preventive measure. “Allah inscribed a book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, from which the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah were revealed. If they are recited for three nights, no Shaytan (devil) will remain in the house) (narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2882).This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ (1799).

Note:285. The Messenger (Muhammad) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. (They say), “We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers” – and they say, “We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all).”

Note:286. Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. “Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”

04). Aali ‘Imraan-3:1,2,3. The greatest name of Allaah appears in three soorahs of the Qur’aan: in al-Baqarah, Aal ‘Imraan and Ta-Ha. (ibnmajaah, hasan) [12]

The Prophet said to Muadh (radiAllahuanhu), ‘Should I not teach you a supplication which, when used to implore Allah, Allah shall pay your debt, even it be as huge as Mount Uhud? He then mentioned them (i.e. Surah al Imran verse 26 & 27)’

26:- Say: "O Allah! Lord of Power (and Rule) thou givest Power to whom Thou pleasest and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest thou enduest with honor whom thou pleasest and thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest; in Thy hand is all Good. Verily over all things thou hast power

27- "Thou causest the Night to gain on the Day and Thou causest the Day to gain on the Night; Thou bringest the Living out of the Dead and thou bringest the Dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest without measure.[Tabarani in Al Saghir 1/330] Abdullah ibn Masud (radiAllahuanhu) said, ‘What an excellent treasure Surah al Imran is to the pauper when he recites it in prayer during the last part of the night’ [Darimi 3264/A]

Abu Umamah (radiAllahuanhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (salAllahualayhiwasalam) said ‘Read the two radiant ones al-Baqarah and Al ‘Imran for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds, pleading for their companions’ [Muslim]

4. The Prophet said, ‘Allah’s most Magnificent name, which when used to implore Him, He responds, is found in three Surahs. Al Baqara, Al’ Imran and Taha’ [Hakim & Ibn Majah 3856]

05) Ta-Ha.20:25,26,27,28. “TAHA” is said to be one of the names of the Prophet Muhammad.

07) Al-Waqiah 56
The Propht (sal) sais:”Surah Al Waqia is the surah of wealth, so recite it and teach itto your children” ibn Asakir (Al Baihiqi). He (sal) said(Al Baihiqi) He (S) said: "Whoever reads Surah Al-Waaq'iah every night, starvation (poverty) shall not afflict him

08) Fatiha
1The Prophet said, ‘In the Fatiha of the Qur’an, there is a cure for all maladies(illnesses)’ [Darimi 3236, also narrated by Ad-Darmi in his Al-Masnad and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’bulImaan, TafseerMazhari 1:30]Surah Al-Fatihah is equivalent to two thirds of the Qur’an[Al-Bayhaqi and Al-Haakim, TafseerMazhari 1:31]

The Holy Prophet (S) once asked Jabir ibn Abdallah Ansari, “Should I teach you a Surah that has no other comparison to it in the whole Qur’an ?” Jabir replied, “Yes, and may my parents be ransom upon you O prophet of Allah.” So the Holy Prophet (S) taught him Surah al-Fatihah. Then the Holy Prophet (S) asked, “Jabir, should I tell you something about this Surah ?” Jabir answered, “Yes, and may my parents be ransom upon you O prophet of Allah.” The Prophet (S) said, “It (Surah al-Fatihah) is a cure for every ailment except death.”

Empires overthrown because of their arrogance and their resistance to the Law of Allah

Note 351 (Sura 3 Ayath 1)
As Moses warned the Egyptians, so the warning is here sounded to the pagan Arabs, the jews and the Christians, and all who resisted Faith, that their resistance would be in vain. Already the battle of Badr (referred to in the next verse) had been a warning how faith must conquer with the help of Allah. The next few decades saw the Byzantine and the Persian Empires overthrown because of their arrogance and their resistance to the Law of Allah.

3:12-Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to hell an evil bed indeed (to lie on)!. 351
